März 2015 für seine Diplomarbeit im Fach Theologie vom Josef-Kentenich-Institut (JKI) mit dem JKI-Preis 2015 ausgezeichnet. Die Arbeit setzt sich unter dem Titel „Geborgen in Gott“ mit „Prinzipien der seelischen Beheimatung nach Joseph Kentenich und ihre pastorale Anwendung in der Schönstatt-Bewegung“ auseinander. In ihr, so zitiert Laudator Oskar Bühler den Korreferenten Prof. Dr. Bertram Stubenrauch von der Katholisch-Theologischen Fakultät der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, „leuchtet das Panorama einer Vision auf, die Licht auf den Gründer der Schönstatt-Bewegung und die Leitmotive seiner spirituellen Weggefährten wirft.“ Damit habe Stubenrauch die Perspektive namhaft gemacht, auf die es bei der Verleihung des JKI-Preises ankomme, so Bühler.
Die Schönstatt-Patres feiern 50 Jahre ihrer Gründung. Und gerade in diesem Jahr findet das nächste Generalkapitel statt.
