First Tertianship 2015 in Bangalore

HSTert2The course Heralds of Sion has officially begun the 1st Tertianship on 15 September 2015 with a solemn mass in the shrine in Bangalore. This three months formation period has begun with a solemn morning prayer inspired by a reading from the letter of St. Paul to Galatians. One of the course members writes: "From the time of Novitiate we have been always inspired by St.Paul, our course patron. In our hearts, we have once again proclaimed with St. Paul: "It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me."

The report continues: "After the morning prayer, we celebrated the holy mass. At the beginning of the mass, Br. Shijo, our course leader gave a small introduction, motivating us to be with the Lord for the coming three months, as the disciples experienced Jesus on the Mount Tabor.

HSTert1The five "P's"

During Homily, Fr. Johnson, our master has reminded us about the five Pillars (P’s) of Tertianship. It is a time to look into our life from a new Perspective, which enables us to see and evaluate the Peak Experiences which we had in our regency and formation time. It is also necessary to find out the moments when we gave our best (Performance) in these times. That will of course strengthen us in forming ourselves. At the same time, it is also important to find out the Problems which we faced during this time and try to find out the possible solutions. Last, but not the least, he has wished us abundance of Peace of mind for the coming months.

As offertory, we have brought fourth four symbols, symbolizing different phases of our Tertianship namely, regency experience, spiritual life, second milestone and course life and asked our Lord to guide us and help us throughout these three months of intensive prayer and preparation to priesthood. After the communion, we have renewed our course consecration. Thereafter, each one has placed his hand on the Founding Father's hand symbol and renewed our love towards him. We concluded the Holy Mass by renewing our Covenant of Love with Mary, our Mother."
